Meet Judy Ann
I joined Inspire in November 2024 as an SMSF Accountant under Team Sakshi, and it’s been an insightful and fulfilling journey so far. Prior to that, I spent over five years working in SMSF administration, building a strong foundation in superannuation compliance, fund operations, and client servicing. That experience has given me a solid platform to contribute meaningfully at Inspire.
Coming from an office-based setup, I experienced a bit of culture shock at first – working remotely felt so different. But the transition was smooth thanks to the Inspire team’s supportive culture. Everyone’s approachable and always willing to help, and that makes such a big difference when you’re adjusting to new ways of working.
Our workflow meetings and weekly check-ins also keep us connected and aligned. They’ve been so helpful, not just for work but for our overall well-being. And since joining Inspire, I’ve expanded my knowledge of SMSF compliance and processes, and I appreciate the ongoing opportunities to refine my skills and take on new challenges.
Outside of Inspire
Before joining Inspire, most of my time outside work was spent resting. I would often go straight home and sleep after long office days. But since becoming part of the Inspire team, I’ve started to live more fully and intentionally.
I’ve discovered a growing passion for travel and embracing new experiences. I’ve been saying yes to more -exploring museums, bar hopping with friends, and attending OPM concerts. These moments have helped me reconnect with myself, form deeper relationships, and find real joy in discovering not just new places, but new parts of who I am.
Fun fact about you that we don’t know
I can drink 5 or more cups of coffee a day, and I can still sleep at night.
What is your favourite thing about working at Inspire?
Definitely the culture. Inspire feels like a family where everyone’s approachable and willing to share what they know. You never feel hesitant to ask questions or reach out for help.
It’s also fulfilling when leaders notice your efforts – even small ones. Their appreciation helps build confidence and reminds me that what I do matters. It’s something I haven’t experienced as much elsewhere, and it really motivates me to keep improving.
Which Sustainable Development Goal(s) do you choose and why?
I chose Goal 13: Climate Action.
Climate change has become very real here in the Philippines – we feel its impact through stronger storms, unpredictable weather, and the health issues that follow. It’s something we can’t ignore anymore.
Taking action to protect the planet is everyone’s responsibility, and I hope more people become aware of how even small steps can make a difference.
