Meet Rest

I joined Inspire in April 2025 as a BAS/IAS Preparer. My main role is to prepare and review BAS and IAS lodgements, ensuring they’re all completed before the due dates. Sometimes, I also help with bookkeeping tasks, especially when they relate to BAS work.

My journey at Inspire has been full of ups and downs, but what makes it rewarding is the people. From my first few days, I’ve been guided and supported by teammates like Fatima and Mark (who actually used to be my college professor!) Recently I have become close with Tara too, and they’ve all helped me feel right at home. Having people around who understand you, motivate you, and lift you up when you’re tired makes all the difference.

Every day feels fulfilling when my manager or teammates appreciate the work I do – it’s those simple words of encouragement that push me to do even better.

Outside of Inspire

I’m very much a family man. I love spending my free time with my wife and child, whether it’s going out together or simply staying home. I rarely go anywhere without them, because I believe every happy moment is even better when shared with family.

I also dedicate some of my time to community service. I used to be a SK (Sangguniang Kabataan) youth leader, and now I help my sister, who’s the current SK Chairwoman in our barangay. It’s my small way of giving back and helping others.

Fun Fact About You That We Don’t Know

I come from a big family of 13 siblings – and I’m the 11th child! Out of all of us, I’m the only one who graduated college, which makes that achievement even more meaningful for me and my parents. Despite growing up with very little, we always had love, laughter, and each other.

We still hold family reunions every year – and with over 50 nieces and nephews, it’s always a full house!

What is your favourite thing about working at Inspire?

I love that Inspire lets me focus on my strengths – preparing BAS and IAS, while still giving me the chance to learn and grow. The team environment is what makes it special; everyone is approachable, helpful, and always ready to cheer you up when you need it.

People here genuinely care about one another, and that’s what keeps me motivated every day.

Which Sustainable Development Goal(s) do you choose and why?

Goal 4: Quality Education

I believe education is the key to solving most of the world’s problems. When people are educated, they gain the knowledge and confidence to improve their lives, make better decisions, and contribute positively to society.

For me, education opened the door to opportunity, and I want others, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, to have that same chance.
