Meet Michelle
I joined Inspire in September 2025 as an Accountant. In my role, I prepare year-end financial statements for a wide range of clients across different types of entities. Even in a short time, the experience has been fulfilling – I’ve learned a lot, expanded my skill set, and settled into a team that truly supports one another.
One thing I appreciate most is how no one gets left behind. My manager has been incredibly accommodating, always willing to help, even with the smallest questions. The positive environment really makes a difference in how enjoyable each workday feels.
What I Find Most Fulfilling in My Job
The most fulfilling part of my role is seeing myself grow. Every day brings something new to learn, and I love that I’m constantly gaining skills and confidence. It feels good to contribute and be part of a team that values collaboration and quality work.
How I Became Interested in Accounting
My interest in accounting began because I saw it as a stepping stone toward my long-term goal of becoming a lawyer. While I don’t plan on pursuing further studies after graduating, accounting has given me a strong foundation in logic, analysis, and discipline – skills that align well with my future ambitions.
What Is Your Favourite Thing About Working at Inspire?
My favourite thing about Inspire is the working environment. The supportive culture, diversity, and the genuinely positive atmosphere make me look forward to logging in each day.
And of course… not having to do timesheets anymore is amazing! That alone is a motivation boost.
Outside of Inspire
Outside of work, I love travelling and going on adventures. Back when I lived in the Metro, my friends and I would often go hiking whenever we had the chance. The views, the journey, and that feeling of reaching the summit – it’s always a surreal mix of peace, accomplishment, and gratitude.
Now that I have a daughter, I’m looking forward to creating new memories and exploring the world with her and my family
Fun Fact About Me
I once had the chance to meet Apo Whang-od, the Philippines’ oldest living mambabatok and a National Artist featured in Vogue. I even got inked by her granddaughter because the queue for Whang-od herself was incredibly long, but the experience was unforgettable.
What Book Do You Recommend?
The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom.
The story reminds me that every person we meet shapes our life in ways we don’t always realise — through love, kindness, lessons, forgiveness, or even brief, meaningful connections.
Which Sustainable Development Goal(s) Do You Choose and Why?
Goal 13: Climate Action
Climate change is an urgent issue, and I believe we need to take action now before the damage becomes irreversible. This moment is our chance to protect the planet and secure a better future for the next generations.
