Meet Miami

I joined Inspire in early 2025 as a BAS/IAS Preparer, working closely with Team Rizal. My main responsibility is preparing and reviewing BAS and IAS lodgements for clients, and making sure everything is accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.

When I first started, things felt overwhelming. There were so many clients to handle, and new systems to learn. But over time, as I got used to the processes and gained more confidence, everything started to flow smoothly. Now, I can honestly say I enjoy what I do.

I’m incredibly grateful to be part of Team Rizal. Rizal is a patient, understanding, and supportive leader. My teammates – especially Arvie and Avie make every workday lighter and more fun. Having a team that genuinely cares makes a huge difference. I always tell them that if they stay, I’ll stay too!

Outside of Inspire

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family – especially my son. After a full day of work, I always make sure to play with him and catch up on precious moments we missed during the day. My partner and I also love watching movies together. We’re both big fans of crime, mystery, and investigative shows – anything that keeps us guessing until the end!

During weekends, I like to stay active by walking or jogging around our neighbourhood. I also enjoy playing chess – though since we moved, I don’t have anyone to play with in person, so I often play on my phone instead.

Fun Fact About You That We Don’t Know

I love drinking beer, and it takes quite a lot to get me drunk! I’m not really into hard drinks or cocktails, but give me a cold beer, good company, and great conversation, and I’m happy.

What Is Your Favourite Thing About Working at Inspire?

What I love most about Inspire is the culture and the people. The Monday meetings and Friday Thank You Circles were a surprise at first, but now I really appreciate how they bring everyone together.

I also love how approachable and kind everyone is, from Ben and Roze to my manager Rizal and my teammates. It feels like a family here. You can ask questions freely, laugh through stressful days, and always feel seen and appreciated. That kind of environment is rare, and I’m thankful to be part of it.

Which Sustainable Development Goal(s) Do You Choose and Why?

Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being

This goal means a lot to me personally. In 2024, I went through one of the most difficult experiences of my life when I was scammed online for a large amount of money. It deeply affected my mental and physical health -especially as a new mother.

Through the support of my family, doctors, and loved ones, I was able to recover and regain balance in my life. That experience taught me the importance of taking care of both mental and physical well-being. Health truly is the foundation for everything – when you’re healthy, you can work, learn, and care for the people you love.

Now, I make it a priority to protect my peace, spend less time on social media, and focus more on real-life connections and moments that matter.
