Remote Australian Tax Accountant

Inspire Accountants are seeking experienced Tax Accountants to join our team remotely on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will:

Hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least 4 years of work experience in Australian public practice accounting
Have experience using xero
Have a secure and reliable internet connection with minimal power outages in your area
Have strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and your team
Have the ability to work both independently and autonomously
Have your own reliable laptop or computer

The essence of the role is simple

Work closely with our team in Brisbane to serve their allocated clients on the many obligations of a small business owner in Australia
You’ll be seasoned at preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and other lodgements for companies, partnerships and trusts in accordance with Australian Tax regulations
Assist with researching complex taxation issues on behalf of your clients
If you’ve had experience reviewing other people’s work, this is strongly desired
You’ll be ready and committed to start building a team under you soon after joining
