I joined Inspire late 2019 and have not regretted it since! I love working with a team who’s dedicated to their work, giving back to the community and guiding business owners to achieve their dreams.
What fulfils me the most, is being able to help clients save tens-of-thousands of dollars in tax. It’s always so rewarding when you tell a client how much money you saved back into their pockets to re-invest back into the business or their family.
My role at Inspire is to support Account Managers and their clients. I’ve had the amazing opportunity to build client relationships and run my own client meetings to start building my own client base.
Outside of Inspire
I’m a proud dad, so I love spending every minute with my beautiful daughter, Luna (bell). As a family, we love going on picnics or walks along Sandgate beach with our dog, Jax. Otherwise, you can usually find me playing pool, drinking some beer with some mates and enjoying a good campfire in the yard.
As a side hustle, I run my own business renting our vehicles to ride-share drivers who either don’t have the capital to purchase a vehicle, or don’t want to worry about the maintenance and costs of owning a vehicle.
What is your favourite thing about working at Inspire?
The work “family” culture. I absolutely love all the people I work with and consider everyone a close friend outside of work. I just knew after working at a top-tier Accounting Firm, Inspire was exactly somewhere I wanted to be. I was super impressed with my first interview and was blown away about the concept of Thank You Circle on Fridays.
How did you get interested in accounting?
My uni lecturer was extremely passionate in accounting and she inspired me to be an Accountant. Accounting is more than just numbers and family is number one.
What is one of the biggest impacts you’ve made?
One of my biggest career highlights is being able to save a client $96,000.00 of tax!
